Job Description / Duties

- Ascend Trust Banking
• Receiver e-transfer for trust accounts
• Daily run interim draw, OSB fee, Counselling fee, NSF payment and other
• Prepare loan from trustee for OSB fee
o Run OSB report, issued cheques from general bank account and deposit into BK, CP, DV1 or ordinary file
o Run overdrawn report, issue cheque from general bank account and deposit into BK, CP, DV1 or ordinary file
• Issue cheque from prefiling bank and deposit into BK and CP
• Create new bank accounts in Ascend, set up for Withdraw PAD
• Help DIV I and Ordinary to reimburse fund back in the estate, or doing journal entries and adjust any incorrect balance
• Void and reissue dividend cheques which was returned from creditors
• Follow up with any OSB or Levy missing cheques
• Void and reissue all old cheques which issued over 6 months
• Accrue all payment which are issued from general account
• Issue cheques to vendors from trust accounts
• Prepare the Deposit Slip
• Run daily PAD’s and PAP
• Reconciliation: Consolidate BK, CP, Prefiling Account
• Deposit cheques to Versa account
• PAD input, update
• Receive e-transfer into the bank, and post in Ascend
• Reconciliation: bank accounts for DV1 and Ordinary bank (more than 100 accounts)
• Help for reports

- Assist with minor Information Technology Issues

- Ability to prepare simple bankruptcy returns

- Assist with some general accounting matters pertaining to Goldhar & Associates Ltd.
