Professional Member

For insolvency and restructuring professionals who have successfully completed the CIRP Qualification Program or have been issued an LIT license by the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.

Life with LIT Associate

For insolvency and restructuring professionals who have retired from the profession and meet the same criteria as Life Members, but also continue to undertake contract insolvency related work that realizes gross income/revenue of less than $30,000 annually.

Life Associate

For insolvency and restructuring professionals who have retired from the profession and who (a) are 55 years of age or older (b) have at least 20 years of experience within the profession (c) are a member in good standing for at least 10 years prior to application, and (d) do not plan to renew their LIT license within one year of application.

Articling Associate 

For students who are enrolled in the CIRP Qualification Program and are interested in pursuing a career as a CIRP.

For individuals who have successfully completed CAIRP’s Insolvency Administration course and are employed by a CAIRP member.

Corporate Associate 

For those organizations which (a) hold a license in good standing to act as a trustee under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and (b) have members of CAIRP who comprise a majority of their directors and officers.

For those individuals who are not members of the association, but who have made significant contributions to CAIRP and the profession.
