How to Apply

CAIRP Members

If you are interested in becoming a member of CAIRP, you will need to complete the CIRP Qualification Program (CQP) that leads to CAIRP’s professional designation, Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP). Please click here to learn more.

Insolvency Administrator Associates

To become an Insolvency Administrator Associate, you will need to complete CAIRP’s Insolvency Administration course and be employed by a CAIRP member. Please click here to learn more.

Life Associates

Life Associates are insolvency and restructuring professionals who have retired from the profession and who (a) are 55 years of age or older (b) have at least 20 years of experience within the profession (c) are a member in good standing for at least 10 years prior to application, and (d) do not plan to renew their LIT license within one year of application.

Life Associates with LITs are insolvency and restructuring professionals who have retired from the profession and who meet the same eligibility criteria indicated above for Life Associates, but who may renew their LIT license and continue to undertake contract insolvency work that realizes gross income/revenue of less than $30,000 annually.
