Insolvency Administrator Associate Professional Development

CAIRP has introduced a new membership category for Insolvency Administrator Associates (IAA).

This category applies to those individuals who have successfully completed the CAIRP Insolvency Administrator course and final examination and are employed by a CAIRP member, which makes you eligible to apply to become a CAIRP Insolvency Administrator Associate. This Associate category gives you access to several benefits including targeted professional development offerings relevant to estate administrations, which is included with your Associate fee. For the full list of benefits, please click here.  Please email Anh Nguyen, anh.nguyen@cairp.ca if you have any further questions about the Insolvency Administrator Associate status.

Webinar Program

Welcome to the IAA online professional development program! Watching the IAA webinars is easy and convenient if you are already an Insolvency Administrator Associate. CAIRP is very excited to announce that the Insolvency Administrator Associate (IAA) Webinar Series will be relaunching in the next few weeks, and will feature all twelve previously released webinars for viewing on-demand.

We are giving current Insolvency Administrator Associate’s the opportunity to watch any IAA webinar’s they may have missed since the series launched in 2022. The webinars will not expire and can be enjoyed at any time with your Associate membership. New webinars will be added in the fall and winter.

Webinars will be available on demand soon.

Please note: The minimum Mandatory Professional Development requirement for Insolvency Administrator Associates is three hours of insolvency administrator related professional development annually. These three hours of targeted professional development are provided with your Associate fee.

To meet the mandatory professional development credit requirement annually, we will count the date that you register for the webinar towards your MPD hours for the current fiscal. For instance, if you register for a webinar on March 30th, 2025, it will be counted as MPD for the current fiscal. If you register for a webinar after April 1st, 2025, it will be counted towards MPD hours for the next fiscal year.
