Annual Review of Insolvency Law (ARIL)
2022 ARIL Virtual Conference: Save The Date
The ARIL Society is pleased to announce that the 2022 Annual Review of Insolvency Law Conference will take place on Friday, February 4, 2022, as a streamlined virtual event.
Conference Co-Chairs, the Honourable Suzanne Duncan, Chief Justice of the Yukon Supreme Court, Guylaine Houle of Pierre Roy & Associés Inc., and Linc Rogers of Blake, Cassels & Graydon, are working to develop a compelling program for attendees that will build on the success of last year’s virtual offering.
This year’s Conference Co-Chairs will be supported by last year’s Co-Chairs Kelly Bourassa and Edward Sellers and joined in their efforts by the 2022 ARIL Conference Committee:
• Virginie Gauthier, Gowling WLG
• Robert Hunt, Grant Thornton Limited
• Adrienne Ho, Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP
• Tevia Jeffries, Dentons Canada LLP
• Christian Lachance, Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP
• Jennifer McCracken, BDO Canada Limited
• Cassie Riglin, Alvarez & Marsal Canada ULC
• Jennifer Stam, Norton Rose Fulbright
• Elsir Tawfik, Miller Thomson
ARIL Society Co-Editors Justice Blair Nixon and Jill Corraini are also busy putting the finishing touches on this year’s articles as part of the ARIL Conference output. The ARIL Society will once again publish the ARIL Conference papers online via CanLII and Insolvency Source to further enhance distribution and access to the quality peer-reviewed articles that the ARIL Conference is known for.
Last year, almost 800 attendees participated in the first-ever ARIL Conference online. We plan to continue the evolution of the ARIL Conference in this virtual space and look forward to sharing program details in the coming weeks. Registration details will be circulated in mid-November.
