Job Description / Duties

We are currently seeking a Consumer Insolvency Administrator to join our Toronto, Ontario office. We are looking for a candidate with prior estate administration experience. The successful candidate should have a strong background in insolvency or credit counselling and how it can assist individuals to Shed the Debt!.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in insolvency administration; in particular candidates who have completed or enrolled in the Insolvency Administration Course with the Canadian Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP)

Additional Information

Proposal administration including 30 day review, 45 days reviews/voting, file reviews, issuing certificate of full performance, review of claims, creditor meetings and negations and assistance with Court applications.
Assist debtors and creditors, both in person and by telephone, as it relates to proposals;
Customer Service—Excellent telephone personality and style; demonstrated ability to empathize and connect with client;
Written and Verbal Communication Skills--Conveys written information clearly and effectively;
Listening and Empathy—Listens for clear comprehension and understanding of the customer’s needs;
Perform initial consultations, upon qualification;
Perform counseling sessions, upon qualification;
Flexibility with work schedule
Skills required include:
Excellent organization and communication skills, including the ability to write and express yourself verbally in a professional manner;
Ability to work independently and with little supervision to accomplish tasks/demands adequately and efficiently;
Time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple and sometimes conflicting demands and often work under time pressures and deadlines
Strong computer related proficiencies, including Microsoft Office/365 (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook);
Confidence in interacting with all levels of management and with external clients;
Professional and positive attitude; and
Ability and enthusiasm to learn and be part of a team
