Josie is a and Licensed Insolvency Trustee, Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator, Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and obtained her Honors Bachelor Business Administration from the University of Windsor. Josie has provided services to clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, not for profit, real estate, restaurant and hospitality, transportation, agriculture, and retail. Josie has extensive experience acting as a court officer in administering receiverships and bankruptcies under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, as well as plans of arrangement under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. She is experienced in acting as a financial advisor to distressed businesses or their lenders by performing viability assessments, advising on and monitoring plans of arrangements, and assisting in the windup of businesses inside and outside of formal insolvency processes.
