Professional Profile:

For over twenty years, I have been an effective and dynamic leader in the banking and accounting community. My experience and interest is with assisting small and mid sized companies, and their creditors, with the financial challenges they face. As a creative and strategic problem-solver - supported by strong analytical reasoning and an ability to keep the big picture in mind – I can find unique and innovative solutions where needed, or tried and true solutions where expedient. This is important when managing the challenges and urgency of consulting, advisory, and formal appointments related to insolvent companies. My ability to communicate well with staff, colleagues, financial institutions, and the legal community allows me to understand and clearly explain issues and solutions to decision makers, and to persuade where necessary.

I take pride in being an effective, creative, and calm leader - keeping my team motivated and aligned while dealing with the challenges of project based work. I develop, motivate, and retain a talented team by instilling accountability, confidence, and a clear sense of direction - and always with open, frank, and respectful dialogue. Naturally, as an experienced Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), I have developed a strong understanding of the insolvency legislation and regulations, along with emerging legal issues.
