As the founder and President of Spergel, Alan’s philosophy is to assist people with sensitive financial problems while treating them with dignity. From the first person he assisted 30 years ago - to present - Alan has shared this philosophy with his team, creating a caring environment for all. Alan is an industry leader, a past chair of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and has served on the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Management Board. Alan was also past Chair of the Board of the Humber River Hospital Foundation. He actively supports multiple charities ensuring that Spergel gives back to our communities. When not working, he enjoys golf, tennis, skiing and time with his grandchildren.
