About Jennifer

Jennifer is also the Global Managing Partner for Global Financial Advisory (GFA) Clients & Industries, focusing on developing and delivering Deloitte’s global advisory go-to-market strategy.  She oversees the growth of a $5.5 billion business. Most recently, Jennifer led Deloitte’s Global COVID response and led global COVID leadership team which guided and advised clients around the world on how to navigate their response to the crisis, chart their recovery journey and lay the foundation to thrive in a post-COVID world. Jennifer is also the Canadian Managing Partner for developing the critical issue based Growth Platforms for Deloitte Canada and Chile. She is focused on investing in leading edge practices to address the key issues facing our clients:  Future of Trust; Navigating towards the Post-COVID environment towards Thriving; and Climate Change. Jennifer’s area of expertise is focused on strategy, value creation and business model transformation.  She helps clients make sense of the vast quantities of data which exists in their organizations to develop insight-data driven approaches and strategies to deal with an increasingly connected consumer and complex business issues. Jennifer is the global lead client service partner for the Weston Group of Companies and is the Advisory Partner for the largest wine brand in Canada. Her clients include Walmart Global Ecommerce, Sycamore Partners, Lululemon, Staples Canada, SAXX Underwear, Canada Goose, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, HBC, Lord & Taylor, Golf Town, AGLC, OLG, BCLDB, LCBO, to name a few. Jennifer holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo. She was named Manulife Mentor of the Year by Ascend Canada and named Global Consulting Magazine’s Top Female Leaders in Consulting.

About Jean-François 

Jean-François has been a restructuring practitioner for more than 20 years in Financial Advisory Services.  He has acted in various roles for debtors and creditors in Canada and in cross-border situations across various sectors including financial services, manufacturing, wood and lumber, construction, telecommunications, distribution and retail operations. Selected engagements include acting as restructuring advisor/monitor of Coalision, Fortress Paper, Stornoway Diamond, Maple Financial, Devonshire Trust, Homburg Invest Inc., AAER Inc., Davie Yards, Compania Mexicana, Mecachrome International, the ABCP Pan-Canadian restructuring, Papiers Gaspésia Inc., JTI Macdonald, Prestige Telecom and other high profile confidential restructuring engagements. Jean-Francois is a licensed trustee in bankruptcy, a chartered insolvency and restructuring professional, and a chartered accountant. Jean-François returned to Montreal after working in Toronto where he was the Canadian National Restructuring Leader from 2015 to 2017 where he supervised a team of approximately 100 people.

Aryo's practice includes distressed mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial reorganizations, financial restructurings and security enforcement. He has represented debtors, monitors, receivers, secured creditors, debtor-in-possession lenders, suppliers, lessors and additional clients on commercial and litigation matters across many practice areas, including general commercial and restructuring and insolvency litigation.

About Stefano

Stefano Damiani is a Senior Vice-President in the Deloitte Financial Advisory group in Toronto and has specialized in corporate turnaround and restructuring mandates for more than 10 years.  Stefano provides advice and support to financial institutions, lending syndicates, corporate boards and senior management, and legal counsel. Stefano’s casework includes advisory, restructuring, and monitoring assignments in a variety of industries including manufacturing, renewable energy, mining, retail and distribution, real estate, construction and engineering services, hospitality, medical services, technology, freight forwarding and logistics, commercial printing, and forest products.  Stefano’s turnaround solutions have involved operational changes, evaluation of strategic plans and cash flow projections, divestitures of assets and business units, negotiations with stakeholders, and informal workouts. Stefano has acted in numerous matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta as Court-appointed receiver, sales officer, interim receiver, proposal trustee, CCAA monitor and trustee in bankruptcy.
