The Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) is a national bilingual (English/French) professional organization representing nearly 1,500 practitioners in the Bankruptcy and Insolvency system. CAIRP is currently looking for a project coordinator (contract) to work on the revision of their Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional Qualification Program (CQP).
The incumbent’s responsibilities will include working closely with the Director of Education Programs to administer and organize the project, including:

• Coordinate project management activities, resources and information
• Develop schedules to meet required deadlines
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure the project progresses as planned
• Assesses potential issues and technical challenges and develop resolutions
• Monitor project progress
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Monitor hours, plans, expenditures
• Review contract requirements and process invoices in a timely manner
• Issue contracts
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Ensure standards and requirements are met

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Have completed post-secondary education, ideally a university degree
• Three to five years’ experience in project coordination or similar role
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Be attentive to detail
Assets:
• Experience with D2L’s Brightspace™
• Experience in education or an education related field
• Fluency in French an asset.
