Bruce was a partner at a National Accounting firm for over 20 years before venturing out on his own and opening a boutique insolvency firm. Bruce oversaw a large insolvency practice covering Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. Bruce was responsible for both the commercial and consumer insolvent estates but is now concentrating mainly on consumer work.

Bruce has served the profession as a former President and Director of the Manitoba Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, and served the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals through appointments to the Board of Directors, Student Education and Professional Conduct Committees.
