Neil leads BDO’s Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services team in Atlantic Canada, providing corporate insolvency and restructuring services. Neil is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) with over fifteen years of insolvency and restructuring service experience working on behalf of both lenders and debtors in the Atlantic and Ontario markets. Formal restructuring experience includes proposals, receiverships and bankruptcies under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA), and plans of arrangement under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA). Informal restructuring services provided include financial and operational business reviews, financial budgeting advisory, cash flow monitoring, deal structuring and execution.

Neil has experience in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, construction, forestry, shipping and transport, education, retail, real estate, airports and aviation, and a variety of public sector departments, among others.
