Nancy Snedden is the President in charge of the Financial Recovery Services practice in St. John’s and is the National Service Line Leader for BDO’s Consumer Financial Recovery Services practice. Nancy oversees the insolvency, credit counselling, and debt help practice for Atlantic Canada, but is based in Newfoundland & Labrador and serves that province including the Avalon Peninsula, Clarenville, Bonavista, Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, Burin Peninsula, Corner Brook, Stephenville and everywhere else in between. Nancy has been living and working in the St. John’s area for over 15 years and has assisted thousands of individuals with creative and practical solutions to resolve their financial difficulties. She has a broad range of financial recovery experience for businesses of all sizes including bankruptcy filings, proposals to creditors, receiverships, and court-appointed receiver-manager experience. She is involved in the profession as a past member of the board of the Newfoundland & Labrador Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, as well as a past member of the board of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals. Nancy’s Professional Designations & Education include Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.), Memorial University of Newfoundland, Chartered Professional Accountant (CA, CPA), Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP). Licensed Insolvency Trustee (Atlantic Canada).
