Kurtis Letwin is a senior associate in the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy group in Dentons' Edmonton office. His practice focuses on credit and debt collection, security enforcement, bankruptcy, receivership, and restructuring law. Kurtis also has experience in corporate litigation matters. Kurtis joined the Firm as a summer student in 2014, and returned in 2016 as an articling student. Kurtis has represented clients in matters before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, including numerous trials. He has also assisted with matters before the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Nicholas Williams is a senior associate in the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Group in Dentons’ Edmonton office. Nicholas has represented both secured and unsecured creditors, including banks, financial/credit institutions, corporations, and individuals in credit and debt collection, security enforcement, bankruptcy, receivership, and restructuring matters. He has also assisted clients on a wide range of commercial litigation issues, with a particular focus on construction disputes and builders’ liens matters. Nicholas develops file strategies with clients to ensure expedient and financially-appropriate results from the initial file intake. He is well versed in preparing pleadings, applications, and orders that reflect the applicable case law and legislation. Nicholas has prepared written and oral argument for applications before both Masters and Justices of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, and has participated in numerous trials in the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta in Edmonton and Calgary. In addition to his litigation experience, Nicholas has negotiated numerous settlements on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants to resolve matters where extensive litigation is not necessary.
