OSB and CAIRP Joint Statement on Representativeness in the LIT profession
As part of our efforts to highlight the importance of diversity and representativeness in the LIT profession, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) and the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP), issued the following joint statement on June 18, 2021:
Recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) and the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) believe that representativeness within the Licensed Insolvency Trustees (LIT) profession provides diverse perspectives that will help sustain and build productivity, innovation and public confidence in the insolvency system. Representativeness is a key objective that both the OSB and CAIRP are committed to supporting.
To support LITs in their efforts to advance their diversity and inclusion goals, the OSB and CAIRP will be providing additional helpful resources.
